Our 10th Annual LGBT Film Festival draws to a close Sunday, October 27th with some special events. The evening includes a double feature, a special celebrity guest, a pizza party, and a fundraising event for the Pat Rawls Memorial Scholarship.
The evening’s films include the features Geography Club and A Perfect Wedding and the short film “dik.” Show time is 6 p.m. in Beard Auditorium in Stouffer Hall. In the intermission between films, we will celebrate the festival’s conclusion with complementary pizza and refreshments.
As a special treat, Sal Rendino, one of the stars of A Perfect Wedding, will be on hand to discuss the film and mingle with attendees.
In addition to the film events, all proceeds from the door will support the Pat Rawls Memorial Scholarship fund. The fund was established in 2011 to raise money in support of LGBTQ students and allies and to recognize their contribution to the LGBTQ community. All funds will be matched up to $250, so please consider donating.
Lastly, here is a glimpse at the final features of the festival–Geography Club and A Perfect Wedding.
