Night 2 of the 2014 Indiana LGBT Film Festival

The 2014 Indiana LGBT Film Festival continues this Sunday night with shorts “What’s Your Sign?” and “A Last Farewell” followed by the German feature Happy End?!

Lucca is young student with a bright future in law. During her service at a local hospice, she meets Val. When their friend Herma passes away, they set out to give her a proper burial, despite the wishes and desires of her family. The two women undertake  a journey that leads them toward self-discovery and one another, all the while attempting to evade Herma’s family, Lucca’s father, and the police. Happy End?! is one part comedy, two parts action, and all about how two very different individuals can help one another.

The films begin at 6 pm in Beard Auditorium in Stouffer Hall on the Indiana University of Pennsylvania campus.

Thank you everyone who support equality for everyone.

Double Feature and Pizza Party! The Conclusion of the 9th Annual LGBT Film Festival

The 9th Annual Indiana LGBT Film Festival draws to a close with a double feature of the drama Naked as We Came and the wacky German comedy Men to Kiss. Between films, join us pizza and refreshments as we celebrate another successful year.

In addition to the films and party, we will be taking up a collection for ICC’s newly established Pat Rawls Scholarship Fund. All contributions will be matched up to $250. That means a donation of 50 cents automatically becomes a dollar, $10 becomes $20, and so on. Every little bit helps. The scholarship will sponsor a student who has shown exemplary service to the LGBT community and academic achievement in their studies.

The Film Festival begins at 6:00 pm. All festivities will take place at Stouffer Hall on the IUP Campus.
