Indiana Cares Campaign and the Film Festival Committee wish thank everyone who attended the concluding night of the 10th Annual Indiana LGBT Film Festival. All in all, we were able to raise over $500 for the Pat Rawls Memorial scholarship, bringing us close to our $5000 goal.
We also want to extend a special thanks to Sal Rendino, one of the actors from A Perfect Wedding and our special celebrity guest. Sal made the trek from Yonkers, NY to Indiana, PA just to be with us for the evening. Sal provided a question and answer session following the night’s features.
Indiana Cares Campaign will present the 11th Annual Indiana LGBT Film Festival in October 2014. Stay tuned for more details in the coming year.
As a precursor to our 10th Annual LGBT Film Festival, Indiana Cares Campaign presents Pittsburgh’s own LGBT choral group–The Renaissance City Choirs. This talented group of singers and musicians will be performing “Love and Our Families,” a musical celebration of family through the eyes of the LGBT community. The concert features songs by Eric lane Barnes, James Mulholland, Jonathan Larson, and more.
This one-night only concert event takes place September 28, 2013, at 7:30 pm in the Gorrell Recital Hall in Sutton Hall on the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Campus. Thank you everyone who support equality for everyone.
